After what seems like forever, The Walking Dead season 10 finale, that was due to air on 12th April in the US, has an air date! Mark Sunday, October 4th in your calendars as that has been announced as the US air date and although no UK air date was announced, the series usually airs a day later on FOX so UK fans, pencil in Monday 5th October.
Greg Nicotero, the visionary behind the gruesome make up, director and producer, has teased a shock ending, telling Fandom: “The last two minutes of the finale are going to just… People’s jaws are going to drop.”
This news comes out of The Walking Dead’s Comic-Con@Home panel. Showrunner Angela Kang revealed that there will be six extra season 10 episodes created that will air in the start of 2021.
“We will not be airing season 11 episodes this year as we normally would in October, but we’re excited to announce an extended season 10, where there will be six extra episodes to follow the finale”
This probably means we can expect season 11 to be delayed too and these new six episodes may serve as a standalone plot to keep our appetite whet until the new season.
